History of Blackpool
From a small "village" with around 500
residents, Blackpool grew to a hugely popular
holiday destinations.
Although it has declined in the last decade,
like so many UK resorts, it is still among the
top destinations for a large number of British
holiday makers.
Since 2005 Blackpool has been undergoing a
long over due mark over.
The improvements to the sea front are clear for
everyone to see, and we are at last in the
closing stages of the first phase.
The next few years will see some wonderful
changes to Blackpool, all with the aim of
getting the town back onto holiday makers
